Remembrance Day 2018

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Sangat Ji,

This Sunday, November 11th is Remembrance Day and we commemorate the Centenary (100 years) of the end of World War 1. Millions of soldiers from Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, India and other nations died in this gruelling war. We remember them and are grateful for all of their sacrifices.

We are also extremely honoured and proud of the thousands of Sikh soldiers who served selflessly and made the ultimate sacrifice in saving Europe. In recognition of their remarkable sacrifices, the Lions of the Great War statue was unveiled in Smethwick, United Kingdom. Please click on links at the end of email for more info.
